I was a bit nervous because it was only a male narrator and I knew this book was viewed from two perspectives but Joel Froomkin blew all my expectations away. I like it when the narrators really have the characters’ voices. My only complaint is that the reader reading Mel’s voice doesn’t match my vision of her sound, but he’s so talented with every other voice that it’s easy to get lost in the story. It’s both sexy and funny, and you really can’t stop. I can’t remember the last time I liked a book this much. This book is written from the perspective of bandits who do not seek redemption or possess a heart of gold. This book is not intended for audiences under the age of 18.
